Training Notice
	Training goes back to Ravendale from first Thursday in April 2010 - end of May 2010. Then recommences 3rd Thursday in July.

2009/2010 Season finishes in style for Griffins...

This was the season of the Intermediates/U16's who went on to take runners up spot in the Intermediate League and also winning the Cup. In addition to this saw them win the County Cup for the first time and go on to do reasonably well in the Regional Finals. 6 girls from this squad plus 3 'old girls' were at the core of the William Farr Schools team that went right through to the National Schools Final winning this 2 - 0 at the Hawthornes. All the rest of the teams had a fun time though could not manage to add to the silverware. Well done to all our girls and ladies.

August 2009 - Girls FC Launched
	Helena Pielichaty releases her new series of girls books entitled Girls FC and Griffins are proud to be behind some of the inspiration for these.

	Hey - we are now looking for girls and ladies at ALL ages. If you want to play football and do it in a fun environment with friendly coaches then come along and see what all the fuss is about!

Wispington House sponsors new U14 kit
	Many thanks go out to Trevor Brock for sponsoring the new U14 team kit. There is always a need for new sponsors so if you are interested in sponsoring a football kit, some training wear or a match ball or two then please contact us.

9th May 09 U14's win Greenbank Tournamant
	The U14 squad continued into the Summer with a win in their first tournament of the season. In the final they beat the 2nd Griffins team.
